An Evening with Gary Schmidt
Third Christian Reformed Church will host an evening with Gary Schmidt, on Monday, March 22. Gary Schmidt will give a lecture entitled Sleepers Awake: How Do Stories Work? and be available to answer questions. The program begins at 6:00 pm with a community supper with the lecture following at 7:00 pm. Gary Schmidt is the author of the Newbery Honor and Printz Honor book Lizzie Bright and the Buckminster Boy. His most recent novel is The Wednesday Wars. He is a professor of English at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI. All ages welcome (childcare provided through age 4). Please RSVP, 343-2400 or www.3rdcrc.org.
